People often taste wine looking for something, a list of adjectives or some pronounced statement from the glass’ contents.
Years ago tasted…
Tasted. Such a spell, such a circling and seductive voice. Letters and touches, close and distant… wrapped.
Wine is always a tell of poetic steps, reflections and meditations, dreams, journals, Roads and that realize joy.

Tasted a year ago today, still hear and feel its music.
Tasted last night, first time in months. Same song and bewitching quality, verve… spells attached to all nerves.
Branding and identity, of this county and any other.
Wine telling me to look at past entries, into old notes and shots. Tasting rooms and vineyards, even the silly shots of me with bottles.
