People often taste wine looking for something, a list of adjectives or some pronounced statement from the glass’ contents. 

Why not just do it for an interaction.  Yes, it’s fun to share with friends what your tasting or comment on texture, what you might pair with your pour.  But, why not just enjoy the new interaction, or even if it’s repeated, for that moment.  Right there, how you feel.  Last night with the Nurse pairing an Oliver’s Own Pinot with the cheese and broccoli soup she made.  There was nothing I needed to analyze or more deeply consider… the moment was enough.  And at times, much more than “enough”.
