So many people want to talk about what they tasted, what they opened, what scored what, and that’s fine I do it too from time to time. But what I think of most often are my walks in the vineyards over the years from when I started at St. Francis to the early mornings at Kunde during harvest, to walking the Sauvignon Blanc lot at Roth and on Chalk Hill Road…. All the walks I took in the Dutcher Crossing blocks before that. What I thoughts about, what I saw, how I felt.
Relaxed.
Unusual PEACE.
A lot gets lost in wine discussions and in the business. The happiness you should experience, the collection during a slow set of steps between rows. Not set of sips mirror that.
