One lot versus another versus another, soon to all be together, possibly. The science and anti-science of winemaking. Watching a video yesterday on the process at another winery, how much is entailed in wine – Earth to plant, to bud break, clusters, picking, then ferments.
I remember this session, around 2018, maybe May or even earlier. Each voice was distinct and sharp, but needed something. My wine mind circles in memories like these, and with no pause or exhaustion. I know more approaches me and I’m impatient, but need to be patient with wine and its insistent reminders that time is quick. Don’t wish it away.
Notes from this session:
CH1 – Bright and slow, not much echo or grip; needing more statement and assertive steps.
CH2 – Vocal and consistent, not needing much; wouldn’t hurt to somehow accent tropical suggestions and stone fruit layers and ties.
CH3 – Whole, educating, consistent and framed well. This is the ‘control’, the anchor, steerer, commanding code for this page.

They were their own voices and stories, but needed something. Reminded me there is no perfection in wine, only an invitation to learn, improve, grow, LIVE.
