Unti… one of my favorite small producers, in this county or Napa or anywhere.

Dinner last with them and the Nurse.  We all had pizza and salad and it was perfect.  Kin Windsor, literally right down the street from the loft.  Easy, again perfect, and memorable. And somewhat unexpected.  ‘19 Zin, Dry Creek of course.  Don’t know many that love that winery like my family, and have never had anyone bring over a bottle of ANYTHING Unti.

Kind of blew me away.  And, to add, this is only the second dinner, the four of us.  AND, Chris and I only recently reconnecting after not speaking for whatever reason for 16 years.  All perfection.

Everything about it.  The style of Zin in the bottle reminded me that time isn’t waiting.  What I mean was, the wine didn’t hide anything, or hold back.  Quickly communicating, urging no overthought.  Just life, more of it.  More memories and appreciation of the Now.

Not sure if I’m doing a wine shop, or little wine label, or both.  And the focus is wine but isn’t… what I’m living and hopefully showing, definitely sharing, is LOVE.  And a love of what you love.

Friends and family…

Dinners like last night.

When is meant to be a love language, and historic kiss.  More later…

(NOTES FOR NEXT POST:  Wine is a letter, love letter and confessional note storm, historic and literary/postmodern snapshot…)
